Mckenzie Stott featured in Willamette live article outlining her recent travels and success with her latest “Sacred Faces, Sacred Places”.
Her passion for people’s stories started when she was 16 and saw a project called “Kids with Cameras”. The project put kids with cameras to show the gang life that Portland youth had been living. “It was meaningful to me. Just because they were not ‘happy’ pictures, they were real. So many people try to take happy pictures, but this gave real insight into the gang world.”
